The two lines deleted here attempt to call virtual functions from a constructor. They have no effect, basically. Patch that does what these try to do forthcoming.

tags should not be so case-dependent, and we ought to use an Enum instead.

Revert r27051 because:

(1) I do not owe pavel a beer

(2) I removed the assert in isLoaded instead

(3) this fix is wrong anyway since there are other calls to this method.
