   4 We are pleased to announce the second release candidate of LyX 2.0.0.

   6 Due to the numerous requests we added more sets of toolbar icons (based on
   7 Oxygen and LibreOffice themes) which can be easily changed in preferences.

   9 The file RELEASE-NOTES lists some known issues and problems compared
  10 to the current stable releases (LyX 1.6). We strongly recommend to read
  11 this file for packagers of LyX on various platforms and distributions.

  13 As with any major release we come with lot of new features but also
  14 bugs -- so while we encourage curious users to test this release, people
  15 who rely on solid and stable application should stay with 1.6 releases.
  16 Please report the problems and bugs at our lists or bug tracker.
