   4 We are pleased to announce the second public pre-release of LyX 2.0.0.

   6 Due to the many reports we received, support for polyglossia, XeTeX's new
   7 language interface and babel replacement, has been added. In the same vein
   8 we added basic and experimental support for LuaTeX as well.

  10 Apart from these better support for sub/superscript has been added and
  11 externally launched documents are now possible to load in an already
  12 running LyX instance. Next changes has been done in context menu handling.

  14 Please report the problems and bugs at our lists or bug tracker and
  15 also note that this release is for testing purposes only. Users are
  16 encouraged to use current 1.6 stable release for any serious work.
